About this project:
This bright kitchen features white shaker cabinets from our Maine Cabinet Company Signature line, and the island is a mix of white shaker cabinets with custom white oak end panels custom crafted by us.
The homeowners of this kitchen opted for shiplap for a backsplash as opposed to traditional subway tile. The end result is a cozy space that truly evokes the feel of a farmhouse.
Floating white oak shelves and glass-fronted cabinets keep the kitchen in the modern era, resulting in a lovely blend of the new and the traditional.
Also contributing to a more modern feel is the brass cabinet hardware and faucet, which create a dynamic contrast with the stainless steel appliances. The brushed brass metal finishes add a warmth that is rarely found in stainless steel alone.
